Reunion was introduced in 1983, during the Heublein era, as the spirits giant refocused on the estate's reputation for quality. In the Los Angeles Times, writer Robert Lawrence Balzer noted: "Reunion firmly re-establishes the proud heritage of Inglenook, where 'fine wines exist.' Vintages of 1984 have just been bottled, and '85 and '86 are aging in oak casks. Inglenook Reunion is just beginning what will certainly become one of California's most treasured bottlings for wine lovers across the land." (August 02, 1987)
